Characteristic features and paleoseismological behaviours of the Anamas Block Boundary Faults, Southwestern Anatolia, Turkey

The Anamas Block is located at the apex of Isparta Angle which one most important tectonic structures Anatolia. Angle, has a complex structure, was formed as result compressional and extensional events that initiated from Late Cretaceous continuing to present. GPS kinematic data indicate currently rotates clockwise due impact normal faults (Beyşehir Gölü Sarıidris) with minor right lateral strike-slip component on east west boundaries, while it moved southeast by effect fault (Gelendost) bounding block north. In this study, paleoseismological trench investigations were carried out Sarıidris, Gelendost Beyşehir faults. Data related activity kinematics all three during Pleistocene-Holocene period collected walls. Sedimentological structural evidences observed for earthquake faults, two earthquakes Fault, resulted in surface rupture period.
